British Brutalism in p.31

The initial report for the 2012 WMF Watch List is now available as a free download. Preston Bus Station, Birmingham Central Library and London’s Southbank Centre, ie ‘British Brutalism’, feature in page 31. Positive results from the inclusion in the list have alreay been noticeable, especially as regards the bus station with Preston City Council now ready to consider options alternative to demolition.

   Not a big fan of ‘Brutalistic’ Architecture, But Preston Bus Station has the prettiest UK Car Park on top with elegant swept curves to the car decks.
