C20 launches Tumblr blog

The Twentieth Century Society has launched a Tumblr blog to showcase photographs of twentieth century architecture taken by our staff, members and the public.

The blog, which can be found at www.c20society.tumblr.com, has been created by volunteer (and architectural journalist) Tom Ravenscroft in response to suggestions by members that we curate a collection of great images of C20 buildings. We also have a large C20 Flickr group (over 13,000 photos and counting) for those who use Flickr and want to share their photo sets. So whether you are a member on a C20 tour, a professional taking pictures of a modernist work or an amateur snapping images of an unknown gem, please upload your photos and help us build a collection of photographs of the best buildings and design of the C20th century.

When you submit your images to Tumblr (http://c20society.tumblr.com/submit) please include the location of the building and, if you know it, the name of the architect, along with any other interesting information. Also, please include your name and twitter handle if you have one.

We will be sharing some of our favourite images from those submitted to the blog here on the C20 society website and we might even want to feature your images in print in the C20 magazine!
