The Greenside Case
The Public Inquiry into the Greenside Case will commence at 9.30 am on Tuesday 23 November 2004. The venue is the Council Chamber at The Civic Centre, Addlestone.
The Society will be represented at the Public Inquiry by John Dagg of counsel. We will be calling as expert witnesses: John Allan, Malcolm Judd, Alan Powers, and Stuart Tappin, to give evidence in support of our case.
The Public Inquiry is programmed to sit on 23, 24, 25, & 26 November, and on 1 & 2 December. (The normal hours of sitting will be from 9.30 am till about 6pm each day.) It is anticipated that The Society’s evidence will be dealt with on 26 November and 1 December – although this is not definite. Closing speeches will probably be made on 2 December.
The proceedings are of course open to the public. Our Public Inquiry team would very much welcome the attendance and support of C20th Society Members. If you are able to attend, please make yourself known on arrival to Joseph Mirwitch, and he will arrange for you to have copies of the papers relevant to that day’s business.

The nearest railway station is Addlestone. (There is also a bus service from Virginia Water.) By car, you should leave the M25 at junction 11 and follow the A317, (signposted Weybridge,) and then the A318 (signposted Addlestone). The civic offices are off Station Road, the main street in Addlestone.
