Brazil Evening
Thursday 9 October, 6.30pm

The Society is planning a visit to Brazil which is, in mid-century modern architecture terms, perhaps the most influential country in the world. This will be a two week tour in October 2009 and will hopefully cover everything a C20 enthusiast would want to see—Brasilia, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janiero etc. This evening will be an opportunity to meet the leader, Geraint Franklin from English Heritage, and talk to John East, who went there earlier this year. There will be two slide shows, one on Brasilia and the other on Brasilian architecture in general, and an opportunity to taste Brasilian drinks.

Venue:The Gallery, 70 Cowcross Street, Lnodn EC1
Cost: Members only £7
