Become a Benefactor Member of the Twentieth Century Society
Benefactor Membership of the Twentieth Century Society offers the opportunity to make a substantial contribution to our campaigns and our key projects, including the publication of our much respected journal.
Many members support the Society through active help with recruitment, lobbying, or casework assistance (for instance taking photographs of threatened buildings too far from the office for us to visit easily). However, not everyone has time to get involved in this way, and financial support is equally vital—if not more critical. We have therefore introduced a new level of Benefactor Membership. We also hope the package of benefits we have put together will provide a unique and enjoyable insight into what we do—and the opportunity to meet some interesting people.
The benefits to members of the Benefactor membership scheme will be as follows:
- A casework visit to tie in with a current piece of work. This will be a site visit accompanied by the Director and/or Caseworker offering updates to the visitors.
- A free pair of tickets to a conference.
- A free pair of Season tickets to Spring and Autumn lecture series.
- A free pair of tickets to a social event in a significant venue to which access is generally unavailable. This would have a guest speaker who would offer guidance on the venue.
- Names of the benefactor members to be a permanent feature of the newsletter and listed in journals.
Benefactor membership costs £250 a year.
We believe that Benefactor Members will be key to securing the independence and continued effectiveness of the Society and ensure that our voice remains independent and powerful.
