The Twentieth Century Society is dependent on members’ support to continue its campaigns to safeguard the best in twentieth century architecture and design. We have an extensive casework programme and as a national amenity society we are entitled to be consulted on all applications for listed building consent concerning twentieth century buildings in England and Wales.
In addition to this we propose buildings for listing, advise on the restoration and conversion of listed buildings and generally encourage the appreciation of twentieth architecture and design.
Membership of the Society is open to all – the only qualification is your enthusiasm for our architectural heritage. If you’d like to support our work and get access to our members’ events programme then please download the membership form at the foot of this page.

Current annual membership rates
All membership subscriptions run from 1 January to 31 December. New members joining after August 1 will not need to renew memberships in January but will continue to receive membership benefits throughout the calendar year.

GiftAid
Our membership includes a GiftAid declaration. By completing this you can help the Society further. A Declaration can be made retrospectively to 6 April 2000, and (unlike the old covenant system) it doesn’t commit you to making any donations in the future.
If you are a UK tax payer please consider a Declaration in favour of the Society. We will be able to claim back 28p tax for each £1 you have donated. (Membership subscriptions can be treated as Gift Aid donations).
If you are a higher rate tax payer you will be able to claim back the higher rate element of the tax you paid on the donation.
